    • Use of blower door tests to facilitate energy audits, Gabe Torres
  • Development and characterization of inorganic florescent materials including nanoscale phosphors, long-persistence phosphors, scintillators, white-light LEDs and CFL phosphors, primarily based on Rare Earth ions and transition metal complexes. Techniques include pulsed and continuous excitation from vacuum UV to mid-IR wavelengths, energy transfer via the crystal lattice and/or optically active dopant ions, temperature effects from 1.6K- 600K, time dependence, phase sensitive detection, with absorption, emission and excitation spectroscopy, as well as the machining of unique components. 1999-2011
